On October 8th 2011, we gathered on the people's legislative plaza the place designated by the state as the place for free speech in our state, to voice the people's discontent with the state of our country and our elected officials, who time and time again failed to follow the people's will. … Both rights promised by the Constitution of the United States and the State of Tennessee. The state has already once chosen to violate our civil rights, arresting citizens gathered in peaceful protest.
